Dino Charters, 52, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on July 9, 2016.
Dino was such a special guy. He was always ready with a kind word, and an "English" smile to go with it. The smile made it to his eyes and came from his big heart. Oh, he had his opinions, mostly about football and we had many discussions about the state of our country. But the gruff exterior did not hide the intelligent mind and gentle heart he possessed. I send my love and prayers to his loving wife Susan, whom I have the pleasure to call friend. Blessings to his family. He is at peace now and no longer suffering, but I will miss him and never forget him! Helen Harrington
I haven't spoke to you in a long time but it hurts my heart to know you passed. Thanks for the fun times as your roommate for little and the advice you gave. I hope your in peace now.
I had the privilege of working with Dino at the Sarasota Sheriff's Office for several years. He was always a bright light in a dull day and one who shared an great wit and sense of humor in coping with life. Rest in peace Dino.
I worked with Dino at the Sheriff's Office,he was a great guy that loved to laugh. He made every shift better with laughter. It was an honor to know him.
I never met a person like Dino. From the moment we met him we had an instant friend, like we had known him forever. I will cherish the few times we got to be in his presence and experience his unique sense of humor and his hilarious stories. Susan, Krista, Megan, Madeline, and other family members, our life is forever better for knowing this precious man. I am sure each of you will mourn him daily, and you have our sincerest thoughts and prayers. Dino, you my friend, will be missed and thought of lovingly.
