Tony was a valued volunteer at Gocio for many years. Rain or shine he was here to help with the children. Many of the students knew him for their whole elementary career. Last year Tony received the senior volunteer of the year award for his dedicated service here at Gocio. Tony has made many friendships here over the years and will be missed deeply by our students and staff. Heartfelt sympathy for Tony's family, he was one in a million!!
Our deepest sympathies to the family. My Gocio granddaughter was very sad when she learned of his passing yesterday. Personally, I met him once last year, and it was immediately evident that he was such a joy for the children.
Deepest condolences to the Damato family and friends from Kay Waites and staff at Sound Choice Cremation & Burials.
