Leona G Snyder 79 passed away peacefully at home on January 6th, 2018.
She was born on June 23rd, 1938 in Nanticoke, PA. She grew up in the shadow of coal mining country; many of her relatives were employed at those very coal mines. As a child her family moved to Washington State and lived for several years. She loved traveling and had a wonderful venturous spirit. She later returned to New Jersey to start a family. She was always very spiritual and had an unshakeable Faith in God. She also enjoyed Native American culture and beliefs. She had a wonderful sense of humor and made friends everywhere that she went. She was a very caring and compassionate person, she maintained her sense of humor all of the way up until her passing. Even when she was reaching the end of her journey. She said that she didn't like being a "burden to her children".
What a Godly Soul... even as she was preparing to meet God, She thought of others. God Bless you, Mom... Rest in Peace.
She is survived by son (John of Sarasota FL) A daughter (Lisa of Sarasota, FL) A son (Daniel of Brevard, NC) Three grandchildren (Jessica, Kenny & Justin) All of Sarasota, FL A sister (Joann of Vineland, NJ)
A Bother (John of Rosenhayne, NJ)
Mom,I can't express how sad that this Mother's Day has been for me...having watched you enter Heaven a few months ago is still on my mind.I know that you are with me everyday...I can feel your prescence...I Love you and will always miss you spending time with me here on Earth...🌷🙏
There are not Woman like Lee. She was one of the most peaceful, calm, and charismatic persons I have ever come to know. She blessed everyone with her presence every day everywhere she went. Her friendship meant so much to me. Her whole heartedness radiated from her smile, and being her friend was something I will remember forever. Hardly knowing a thing about me, she never failed to send me a text or give me a call during the holidays . And after moving halfway across town she would take the bus on an even longer route just to come to my job and say hello. Unfortunately I was never able to sell her the winning lottery ticket, but that woman deserved all the money in the world. Momma Lee, I hope that you rest easy, I hope that your days in heaven are better than your days were on earth, and I hope you know that you are loved by so many people. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel . Rest In Peace
Mother I really can't express how proud that I am to be your son. You gave me Life...how do you pay honor to the person who gave you Life on this Earth. I always loved your free style and your independence.I remember you saying once that you thought that you were part "Gypsy" because you were so adventurous and full of wonder. I know how difficult it was for you when Paul passed away...it was for all of us but I know that the bond between a Mother and their first born is very special. I am relieved to know that you went in comfort and you are now with him again....and now you are with your Mother and Father...It was an honor to be your Son and it was an even greater Honor to be with you until God took you back to Heaven....I will always miss you...I Love you Mom...John
