George Henry Hill III, 82 of North Port, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on May 4th at home.
George was born in Chester, Pennsylvania to George and Virday Hill on April 26, 1941. He went to high school at Chester High and graduated in 1959. Over the years George worked at Pennsylvania Fish and Wildlife, Crown Zellerbach, Verizon, TJ Mugs, and owned Hill's Lures. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, traveling and socializing. He even, for a period, held the record for the second biggest Flounder in Delaware.
George is survived by his daughters Maureen Bukowski (Kenny) and Dawn Hill Anders (Beth), niece Lynn (Vern) and nephew Michael Skladony (Cathy), his grandchildren Robert (Carrie), Cameron and Olivia and great granddaughter Noor and numerous grand/great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents, his brother SSG Gerald R. Hill, Jean, Charlie Liebig and Jack Skladony.
His daughters will be holding a celebration of life in North Port's AmVet, May 17th and in New Castle, DE TBD.
